Pattern Making- The Late Bustle Era Bodice
The Look of the 1880's

Now for your assignment...

"What??!! ARE YOU NUTS!! ", you say...

Well, as a matter of fact, what do you think of a person who voluntarily wears a 15 pound wool dress in 100 degree Kansas weather. I can't be all there. *grin*

Ok its not bad and its not manditory, but it will be helpful.

You have your list of measurements, right?
And you've drooled over a ton of dresses and photos, right??

Here's the deal

1. Go to my website and
submit your measurements to me- it will help me spot if you may have mismeasured and allow me to make styling suggestions on a more personal level. I promise my eyes are the only ones who will see them.

2. Find a picture of your "dream bodice/dress" or at least the one you would like to attempt to create and
e-mail it to me. You can scan a photo or a fashion plate you have (jpg or gif please), you may reference a book, or you may send me the url where it is located. I'd like to see what each of you is working toward.

So what do you get out of this??
To student who fulfills both requirements, I will send the download for a basic 1880's skirt diagram in PDF format.
Can't beat that can you??
