• 1593: Warrant for the Scottish King, Wardrobe of Beds, & Prisoners' Clothing, September 21, ER 35

This is an unusual warrant. It begins with items in the purview of the Wardrobe of Beds, specifically destined for King James V of Scotland. It continues on with standard Beds Warrant items (curtains, beds, furnishings, instruments, drapery and napery, etc) and finishes with entries regarding clothing for a set of Irish prisoners in the Tower: very unusual, as no other references to prisoners' clothing have been found in Elizabeth's wardrobe warrants.
