MS V.b.72, in the Folger Shakespeare Library, contains an inventory of clothing remaining in Queen Elizabeth's Wardrobe of Robes in 1600. The manuscript is significantly degraded in some areas, due to necessary restoration. The Microfilm of the manuscript, also at the Folger, helps to clarify some of the blurred or missing words in the manuscript itself. It is related to the Stowe Inventory, a larger document listing garments kept at the Tower of London and at court in the year 1600. The image to the right, of a page of the manuscript, is courtesy of the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC.
